Daman is 120 Kms from Surat.  This is a cool 2 hours drive from Surat to Daman.  If you’re travelling from Ahmedabad,  it can take 6-7 hours by road,  since Ahemdabad to Daman is 360 Kms.  All trains going to Mumbai from Ahemdabad or Surat will typically stop at Vapi,  which is the closest railway station from Daman and a really convenient way to travel to this Mini Goa of India !

The closest airport to Daman is the Surat Airport,  which is about 2 hours drive from Daman.
