Day 1&2

Afternoon at around 13:00hrs hotel pick-up for half-day tour. Visits to City Walls, Golden Horn and cable car to Pierre Loti Hill. Then, Bosphorus Cruise along the Bosphorus, the winding strait separating Europe & Asia. Bosphorus coastline is a delightful mixture of the past and the present where one can enjoy the grand splendour and quaint beauty of the ancient wooden mansions, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. Next day, visit St.Sophia (closed on Mondays), Byzantine Hippodrome, in which stand the obelisk brought from Egypt by Theodosius and the Serpent Column taken from Delphi by Constantine. Blue Mosque (closed to visit on Friday mornings due to Friday Pray), which has six minarets and a middle dome of 109 feet and Grand Covered Bazaar (closed on Sundays) dating back to 15th century. Day 3

After breakfast at hotel transfer to Ataturk Apt for early morning flight to Kayseri (TK2010 IST/ASR domestic flight). Upon arrival meet with assistant and drive to Cappadocia. Arrival visit to Red Valley which is one of the most beautiful trekking valleys in Cappadocia. Explore the famous rock-cut churches and hiking for 5km through the valley. After hiking, resting in Old Cavusin Village where is one of old Greek Villages in Cappadocia. The village is known with its houses and churches of the Christian clergymen. After lunch at local restaurant visit to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Finally visit to Pigeon Valley. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Day 4

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visits to Devrent Valley which has various types of fairy chimneys. Pasabaglari (Monk's Valley) with some other types of fairy chimneys. Avanos Region, known with its pottery, a craft dating back to Hittite period. After lunch at local restaurant visits to Goreme Open-Air Museum, which is full of pink, rose and white tapering columns. These tall free standing cones of stone curve and twist as if pulled from earth like taffy. Others are tall like fairy chimneys. The caves were settled in the 4th century as monasteries. Visit some caves on the cliffs to see Byzantine frescoes decorating early Christian churches. Stop at Citadel of Uchisar and Esentepe for beautiful view of Cappadocia. You will also have chance to take photo in these places. Dinner and overnight at Hotel / Cappadocia.

Day 5&6

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Kayseri Airport to take a domestic flight to Izmir (can be via Istanbul as per the travelling date). Upon arrival at Izmir Apt transfer to hotel in Kusadasi (early check-in subject to availability). Rest of the day free at leisure. Lunch excluded. Dinner and overnight at Hotel / Kusadasi. Next day, after Breakfast at hotel. Full-day tour to Ephesus. Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of the site of one of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the world, the site of Temple of Artemis and the ancient city of Ephesus. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the city and stadium where chariot and horse races were once held. Day 7

Pamukkale for full-day tour. Visit to Pamukkale Cotton Fortress and Hierapolis Ancient Site, including magnificently preserved necropolis, the main street, gates, the thermal baths, the Greco Roman theatre and the Basilica of St. Philippe. Swim in a therapeutic bath of hot spring mineral waters. Lunch at local restaurant during the tour. After the tour transfer back to hotel in Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight at Hotel / Kusadasi.

Day 8

Day 1

Upon arrival at Istanbul International Airport, please proceed to the domestic terminal for your connecting flight to Kayseri (Cappadocia). On arrival at Kayseri Airport, you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to your hotel. Welcome to Cappadocia, a semi-arid region in central Turkey, is known for its distinctive “fairy chimneys,” tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley, Goreme and elsewhere. Enjoy the relaxing and mysterious atmosphere at Cappadocia.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart from the hotel for FD Goreme City Tour. Firstly, you will stop to take photos at Uc Guzeller which are famed fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. Later proceed towards visiting Devrent Valley which has various types of fairy chimneys. Among these are those with caps, cones, mushrooms like forms pillar and pointed rocks. We will take a walk through this amazing valley. Continue your tour with visits to Pasabaglari (Monk's Valley) where you will see many fairy chimneys with multiple stems and caps, this style being unique to this area. A chapel dedicated to St. Simeon and a hermit's shelter is built into one such fairy chimney with three heads. After visiting Pasabag, we will drive to Avanos which is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay which is worked by local craftsmen comes from the residue in the Kizilirmak river. The Kizilirmak, which divides Avanos into two, is Anatolia's longest river And we will have a rest to have lunch in a local restaurant. After having lunch, we will proceed to Goreme Open Air Museum where this religious education was started. You will visit the churches, chapels, and monasteries carved into the fairy chimmeys from the 10th to the 13th centuries with frescos painted on the walls. Before you return to your hotel, you’ll little time at leisure to take some photos in Uchisar Castle and Esentepe.

Day 3

After breakfast at the hotel, early departure for Pamukkale and we will drive to Pamukkale via Konya. Today’s ride will be fairly long and tiring due to the long distance between Cappadocia and Pamukkale. Lunch at a local restaurant. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana (the world-wide famous mystic figure), proceed to Pamukkale. Check-in process at the hotel and free time.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel and start sightseeing to enjoy natural spring water beauty with history. Pamukkale, meaning cotton castle in Turkish, is a natural site that contains hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. Hierapolis is the place where you will see the Necropolis, the biggest cemetery of Anatolia with 1,200 graves. We will have free time to walk on warm water terraces, where people have bathed in for thousands of years. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will drive to Kusadasi. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Check in the hotel and the rest of the day free till dinner. Kusadasi is a beach resort town on Turkey's western Aegean coast. A jumping-off point for visiting the classical ruins at nearby Ephesus (or Efes), it’s also a major cruise ship destination. Its seafront promenade, marina, and harbor are lined with hotels and restaurants

Day 5

After breakfast at the hotel, check out of the hotel and then we visit Ephesus ruins, including The Polio Fountain, The Temple of Hadrian that dedicated to Emperor Hadrian in 138 AD. Then, we visit the Great Theatre, the largest ancient theatre with 25,000 seat capacity. Later, we visit the Library of Celsius, one of the most beautiful structures of Ephesus, built in 117 AD. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Our last stop will be House of Virgin Mary, where she spent her last years. Next, drive to Izmir airport for the flight to Istanbul. On arrival in Istanbul, you will be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 6&7

After Breakfast at the hotel, the guide will meet at the lobby of your hotel for a Full Day Istanbul Classics and Highlights Tour. You will begin the day with Roman Hippodrome, where the chariot races were organized by the Romans and Byzantines. Blue Mosque-the only mosque with six minarets and its surroundings will be our next place to visit. Next, you will see the German Fountain - a gift of Kaiser Wilhelm 2. And listen to the stories of his liaison with the Orient. St. Hagia Sophia - The Church of Divine Wisdom is the highlight of this day. Following the visits, your guide will take you the Grand Bazaar for a demonstration of Turkish Handicrafts. Lunch will be at any local Turkish restaurant. After lunch, visit Topkapi Museum is the big one the most important museum of Turkey and the Balkan Peninsula. It is an incomparably rich treasure-chest, brimming with things of historical importance. First, second, third and fourth courtyards; the Audience Hall, Divan-the High Court, Historical Kitchens, Royal Stables, the Treasury, gardens, kiosks. Probably the best commentary on Ottoman History, art, and its culture is simply to come directly to the First Courtyard of this amazing Palace. Day 6&7

A sightseeing tour of the city taking in the walls, the Golden Horn, the fishing district, and Taksim. We will skirt round the Topkapi Palace and admire the exterior of Hagia Sophia. On our tour, we will include a cable car ride up to the Pierre Loti viewpoint and we will look round the Mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent (the largest in Istanbul). There will be time to dine in one of its many restaurants, and you can also take the old tram that crosses the area or go to see the nearby Galata Tower.

Day 3

Today we include a boat trip on the Bosphorus that will last about two hours. We will undertake the trip on a boat exclusively for Europamundo travellers. The Bosphorus is a strait that connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara, which separates Istanbul into two parts: the European part and the Asian one. We will enjoy seeing the liveliness of the strait with its multitude of boats. We will pass under the two bridges that unite Europe and Asia and we will admire the palaces of the sultans, the typical wooden houses and the Ottoman villas.

Day 4

We will leave early morning from Istanbul. We will cross the Sea of Marmara by the rapid ferry service (variable schedules according to the season and month), and after about a two hour journey, we will arrive at the port of 09.00 hrs.- BANDIRMA (or Yalova according to the timetables) Arrival. We continue our journey through the interior of Turkey. Stop for lunch en route. 14.00hrs.- We will arrive in EPHESUS, the best preserved ancient city of Asia Minor; 2000 years ago it had a quarter of a million inhabitants. We will discover the Basilica of Saint John, and then the house of the Virgin Mary and the archaeological site (tickets included). 17.00 hrs- Ephesus departure. We continue on towards the Turquoise Coast, which has magnificent landscapes. 20.15 hrs- Bodrum, the former Halicarnassus is nowadays one of the most prestigious tourist spa towns in Turkey. Dinner included.

Day 5

We will make a short visit to IZMIR with our guide. We will tour the church of Saint Policarp, the oldest in Izmir, which reminds us of the importance of this area at the beginning of Christianity (entry tickets included). We will also discover the Fort of Kadifecale.

Day 6

This Tour comes to an end, depart home with beautiful Turkish memories.

Day 1&2

Welcome to Cappadocia - best known for its moon-like landscape, Underground cities and Caves Churches and houses in the rocks. In the evening we enjoy whirling dervish show. Next day , walk and explore the UNESCO World Heritage site – Goreme open air museum. It is the first sight to be visited by any traveller in Cappadocia as its Cave churches containing beautiful frescoes and finest rock cut churches. We also stroll around the famous valleys of Cappadocia like Devrent Valley – also known as Imagination Valley as there are lots of Fair Chimneys and Pasabag Valley – also known as Monk Valley wherein we can see Mushroom shaped fairy chimneys. Later we get a chance to visit the widest Underground city – Kaymakli. Later we visit ceramic workshop.

Day 3

Today we proceed to Pamukkale - Famous for its healing thermal / mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified” waterfalls. En route we visit Mevlana Mausoleum at Konya.

Day 4

Today we proceed to Pamukkale- Famous for its healing thermal / mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified” waterfalls. On arrival we visit the beautiful snow white ‘Cotton Castle’, the ancient city of Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the main Street and Gates, the thermal Baths, the devil’s hole, and masterpiece theatre. Pamukkale’s terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. Later we proceed to Ephesus- The cradle of early Christianity. On arrival we visit Great Theatre, Temple of Hadrian and Library of Celsus. Then we proceed to Kusadasi. En route we visit Textile Outlet. Breakfast Lunch Dinner Night Stay in Kusadasi

Day 5

Today we visit Pigeon Island, also known as Bird Island- The symbol of Kusadasi. Then we proceed to Sirince village, famous for its wine production. Here we walk through this beautiful village. Later we drive Canakkale

Day 6

Today we visit Trojan Horse statue, which is famous for Trojan War about the subterfuge that the Greeks used to enter the independent city of Troy and win the war. Then we proceed to Eceabat by ferry. Then we drive through Anzac Cove- A small cove on the Gallipoli peninsula & the site of World War I. Later we proceed to Istanbul. On arrival we enjoy Turkish dinner with show.

Day 7&8

Today we visit Topkapi Palace – which offers a true insight into the heart of the Ottoman Empire. Then the famous Hippodrome square also known as Atmeydani (Horse Square) in Turkish, then we move onto Sultan Ahmet Tsami popularly known as Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning their interior walls. Later we visit Hagia Sofia Museum – once a church, later a mosque and now a museum. Next day, we Experience the most scenic and beautiful Bosphorous strait through a Cruise which takes you around the city wherein you can see the European as well Asian lifestyle altogether. Later In the evening, we shop for famous flavoured Turkish tea, Turkish Ceramics, Carpets, textiles, Glass lamps and designer wares to decorate your house from the Famous Grand Bazaar – largest and oldest covered markets in the world. Day 1

Arrival transfer from airport to hotel in Istanbul (Private). Enjoy the Bosphorus Cruise (Seat in coach).

Day 2

Embark on a Bosphorus cruise and marvel at the view of extravagant palaces, Ottoman-era villas and other sights ranged along the European and Asian banks. See the crenelated 15th-century Rumeli Fortress, the bustling cafes on the Asian waterfronts, and pass the Beylerbeyi Palace and elaborate gardens of Yildiz Palace. Disembark and enjoy a panoramic coach drive that lines the Golden Horn, an inlet that separates old and new European Istanbul. Pass through the former Jewish quarter of Balat with its synagogues, balconied townhouses, stepped sidewalks and visit the Bulgarian St. Stephen Church, built entirely from cast iron. Continue to visit the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, Jewish Hospital and explore the remains of Istanbul's Roman- and Byzantine-built city walls. Day 3

On arrival, you will be transferred from airport in Kayseri to hotel in Cappadocia. En route, visit Red Valley; one of the most beautiful trekking valleys in Cappadocia. Explore the famous rock-cut churches and enjoy hiking through the valley. After hiking, take a short halt at Old Cavusin Village. The village is known for its houses and churches of the Christian clergymen. Relish lunch and visit the Kaymakli Underground City, followed by a visit to the Pigeon Valley. Admire the spectacular views of the natural cliffs and the man-made caves and passes from Pigeon Valley.

Day 4

Admire the lunar-like geological rock formations, volcanic pinnacles, bizarre shaped boulders, and fairy chimneys. Learn in detail as to how the natural forces eroded these formations over millennia. Continue to Pasabag, known as Monks Valley and get to know about the monks and hermits that once found solitude within these lonely cone shelters. Thereafter, enjoy a pottery workshop in Avanos and relish local lunch. Later, visit the Gerome Open Air Museum, recognised for medieval monastic complex of painted cave churches and dwellings, carved out of the tufa rock by the Christian monks. Also stop for marvelous photo opportunities at the Citadel of Uchisar and Esentepe.

Day 5

Departure transfer from hotel in Cappadocia to airport in Kayseri (Seat in coach). Fly back home with happy Turkish memories.

Next day, embark on for the Istanbul city tour. Visit the TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break and then we head to the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) the air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. Day 3

Free Day until departure for your domestic flight to Denizli. Transfer from airport and check in to your hotel in Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale

Day 4

08:00 we depart on our tour of Pamukkale travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis. You will visit Domitian Gate, Colonnaded Gate, and Cathedral, Red waters of Karahayit, Lunch, Pamukkale, and The Travertines of Pamukkale. After Pamukkale tour transfer to coach station for Antalya. It takes around 4 hours. Upon arrival, meet with our representative and proceed to hotel for check in. Rest of the day is yours. Dinner and overnight in Antalya

Day 5

After breakfast we will depart for Perge and Aspendos. PERGE: According to the geographer Strabon. Perge has been founded by Akhas who came down here after the Trojan wars. Perge was first mentioned in 334 BC when Alexander the Great passed through here. In the following years, Perge went under the control of Pergamon when the Kingdom of Pergamon became a part of the Roman city. In the first and the second centuries BC, Perge became one of the richest towns in Pamphylia. Therefore it is not a surprise that St. Paul started his campaign in Anatolia from Perge in 46 AD. After Perge, we will depart for Aspendos. Lunch break on the way. ASPENDOS: The eastern land of Antalya was called Pamphylia in ancient times. Aspendos (Belkis) lies 47 km east of Antalya in the Pamphylian plain. In 486 BC, Greeks and Persians had a great battle here (Greeks won, they didn't stay for long). During the reign of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius (161-80 AD) Aspendos got its theatre, which is the best preserved of all. It was built by Romans and maintained by Byzantines and Seljuks. The ruins of the ancient city are extensive and include a stadium, an agora, and a basilica. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.

Day 6&7

After breakfast, at 12:00 check out and free time till departure. Then we depart for Antalya airport for our domestic flight to Cappadocia. Transfer from Kayseri airport to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore Cappadocia. Dinner and Overnight in Cappadocia. Next day, we will get to know the Cappadocia region, a volcanic area in which the geological formation started 10 million years ago. As a result of these formations phallic like pillars have come to life. The beautiful horse country Katpatuka, (as the Persians called her) is an unbelievable strip of land, enchanting and mysterious. Cappadocia region is also famous for its arts, including ceramic and carpets. You will be picked up approximatley 09:30 from your hotel to join our regular tour.

Day 8

After breakfast you will have free time for shopping in Cappadocia. Then we depart for Kayseri airport for our domestic flight to Istanbul and then back to home. We hope your tour was a memorable one and we would like to see you in the future in one of our tours again. Have a nice trip back home.
