Goreme Open Air Museum is famous for frescoes dating to 10th century describing the life of Jesus Christ and monks. Next stop is Cavusin, which is an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. After Cavusin you go to the restaurant in Avanos to have lunch. After lunch, you visit a pottery work shop, to see how to make potteries. Then you go Pasabagi where you can see three - headed fairy chimneys. After Pasabagi you visit another workshop to see Cappadocian handwoven carpets and kilims. Next stop is Devrent Valley, which is also called Imagination Valley, where you can see natural rock formations looking like animals. Then you head to a wine shop in Urgup for wine tasting. Later, proceed to the Open-Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Enjoy lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, visit the Kaymakli Underground City - the place early Christians hid from persecutors. It is the widest, enchanting, one of the most famous and wonderful underground city in Cappadocia. Later, visit Pasabagi in Zelve region - Valley of the Monks. We also visit Avanos – a tented market that has everything for the house, clothing, fruits and vegetables and some world-wide famous handicrafts. Enjoy dinner at the restaurant.
En-route visit Konya. Visit the famous sights in Konya. After breakfast at the hotel, check-out & drive to Konya - one of Turkey's oldest continuously inhabited cities and was known as Iconium in Roman times. En-route visit 13th century Sultanhani Caravanserai built on the famous silk route. It is the biggest masterpieces in Seljuk period. We also visit Mausoleum of Mevlana, the worldwide famous Persian Sufi mystic. Later, visit Karatay Theological School known for its tilings and mosaic decorations. It is now the Museum of Tile Works. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificent library, Agora and the fantastic Greco-Roman theatre. Enjoy lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, visit the House of Virgin Mary, Selcuk Ephesus Museum and St. John Church. Later, transfer to Izmir Airport for a Domestic flight to Istanbul. Blue Mosque (closed to visit on Friday mornings due to Friday Pray), which has six minarets and a middle dome of 109 feet and Grand Covered Bazaar (closed on Sundays) dating back to 15th century. It covers over 4,000 shops under one roof. Enjoy lunch. Evening we experience the Dinner Cruise. Sail along the Bosporus, separating two continents of ‘Europe’ and ‘Asia’. Enjoy your dinner while watching Traditional Shows including Belly Dance Show at the cruise. Don’t miss to look around outside as you will be sailing just between two continents. One side is the continent ‘Europe’, and the other side is the continent ‘Asia’. You will be amazed by the view of two continents at the same time. Enjoy dinner on board the cruise. Next day, After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and visit to Topkapi Palace Museum that exhibits the imperial collections of the Ottoman Empire and maintains an extensive collection of books and manuscripts in its library.
