Day 1

Step back in time to the era of the tsars with this intriguing visit the Peter and Paul Fortress in St Petersburg. This grandiose symbol of Peter the Great’s rule was built by him on an island to protect his new imperial capital, St Petersburg, and to project his power, both military and spiritual. See the stunning cathedral, the Grand Ducal Mausoleum and much, much more. Enter the fortress through the imposing triumphal gate crowned by the twin-headed eagle that was the coast of arms of the tsars. Behold the breathtaking baroque Cathedral of Peter and Paul with its seemingly neverending 123 metre-long golden spire topped by an angel. Since 1998, the cathedral has been the final resting place of the family of Tsar Nicholas II, who were murdered during the Russian Civil War. The small but beautiful boathouse beside it is completely dwarfed by the cathedral. Also within the fortress is the mint, which still produces coins and medals, and the cells of the prison. Explore this dungeon and find out about the appalling conditions prisoners such as Trotsky, Dostoyevsky, Gorky and even Peter the Great’s own son, Alexei, endured. On display are Russian gold and silverware, including works by Petersburg and Moscow masters and the famous Faberge eggs. Day 3

After breakfast at your hotel, you time to plan your day. St. Petersburg is known for its marvellous architecture, so much so that the whole city is deemed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can go for a full day tour of Hermitage or Catherine’s palace to marvel at the brilliant architecture,. Peterhof is also one of the most famous sites in this city, with the gardens and fountains spread massively across the campus. If exploring architectural feats is not your cup of tea, you could opt for a cruise to give you a completely different viewpoint of this city in the evening.

Day 4

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Take the transfer from your hotel to train station to board High Speed Sapsan or Nevsky Express(depending on availability) to Moscow. On arrival at Moscow transfer to your hotel, check in to your room and spend rest of the day at leisure. All hotels have a check-in time of post 2 pm. You may have to wait if you arrive earlier than that. Post check-in, evening is free for you to roam around the area near your hotel on your own or explore this majestic city.

Day 1

Transfer to the hotel upon your arrival at the Moscow Airport. The hotel check-in time is 1500 hrs. Early check-in is subject to hotel policy. The rest of your day is free for you to explore the city, although it is suggested that you visit the Moscow Circus and enjoy the exciting show. (Pre-booking is required).

Day 2

Have breakfast at the hotel and then head out for an orientation tour of Moscow by a private vehicle. Visit the Cathedral of Christ the Savior - a 19th century church, which is the tallest Orthodox Church in the world. You will then proceed to visit the St Basil's Cathedral, the Red Square, the New Maiden's Monastery and the Bolshoi Theatre. After this, you can either choose to be dropped back to the hotel or the Kremlin to explore the place further.

Day 3

Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Prepare for the World Famous Moscow Circus which is well known for its excellent shows and great costumes, this small circus, with clowns, acrobats and jugglers, is a popular draw for children. After having breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to the Moscow Railway station for a high-speed train journey to Saint Petersburg. Transfer to the hotel upon your arrival at the railway station in St Petersburg via a private vehicle.

Day 5

Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel and then proceed for an orientation tour of Saint Petersburg.
