Breakfast, departure to Meknes and a tour of this "Moroccan Versailles" which was founded at the end of the 17th century by Moulay Ismail, a contemporary of Louis XIV. Additional sightseeing includes Bab El Mansour, considered as the finest gateway in Morocco. Lunch at leisure in Meknes or Moulay Idriss the holy city or facing Volubilis ruins. On Day 5, departure for Marrakech via Immouzer du Kandar, a Berber village, Ifrane, a delightful ski resort, and Azrou, a Berber village known for its handicraft cooperative famous for its wood carving and carpet weaving. On Day 6, after breakfast, the entire day will be devoted to sightseeing in Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial City and definitely the "Pearl of the South". You will visit the famous Saadian Tombs, Menara Gardens, Koutoubia mosque, and Bahia Palace.
You will have the morning free to do whatever you like, whether it be shopping at the fabulous souks or simply relaxing by the poolside at your hotel. Lunch at leisure in Marrakech. AïtBenhaddou: The fortified village of AïtBenhaddou has been classified by UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural treasures. A program of restoration work is currently under way to encourage the repopulation of the village which is at present inhabited by just five families. Then Drive to Marrakesh via TizinTichka Pass the highest pass in Morocco Mountain spectacular route offering wonderful scenery of the Atlas and the Taddert.
