This morning, drive to Dwarka. En route visit Lakhota Lake and museum and Bala Hanuman Temple Begin with the Lakhota Lake, one of the most beautiful and serene places of Jamnagar. Then, continue to Lakhota Palace also known as Lakhota Tower, located on an island in the middle of the Lakhota Lake was once home to the Maharaja of Nawanagar. The Palace has now been converted to a museum and showcases artifacts and art pieces from the 9th to the18th century. Head to the south east corner of the Lakhota Lake to seek blessings at the Bala Hanuman Temple. This shrine is well-known for the chant 'Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram', and has even been mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records for their continued chanting. Later, continue to Dwarka and check in to the hotel
DWARKA - Visit the Bet Dwarka and Kachoriyu Temple (Private). Today, after a sumptuous breakfast, proceed to visit Bet Dwarka, also known as Beyt Shankhodhar, a sacred pilgrimage site, which is believed to have been the original home of Lord Krishna during his years spent in Dwarka. SOMNATH - JUNAGADH - Today, proceed to Rajkot via Junagadh. En route visit Uparkot Fort, Ashok Rock Edict and the Junagadh Museum. The oldest part of Junagadh is the upper citadel, known as Uparkot. It is an imposing monument built by Chandragupta of the Mauryan Empire around 320 BC. An ornate triple entrance gateway leads to the ruins inside the fort, which houses a number of archaeological and historical sites such as the Jama Masjid, the pillared Buddhist caves, the two step wells or irrigation tanks - Navghan Kuvo and Adi-Kadi Vav, and many other monuments.
RAJKOT - Today, proceed to explore Rajkot on city tour. Begin your tour with a visit to Chamunda Mataji Temple, situated at Chotila a small town situated between Ahmedabad and Rajkot. This temple is the 'kuldevi' (family goddess) of most Hindus in the Saurashtra region. Then, visit Watson Museum, regarded amongst the largest and most comprehensive museum in the state of Gujarat. There are stone carvings with exquisite balconies, marvellous pillared courtyard, delicately carved arches, and a unique spiral staircase in the palace
