Day 2

Come to Halong Bay to board your cruise. In the afternoon you are free to relax on deck and gain unparalleled views of Halong in slow motion. You will visit Titop Island, the biggest island in Halong, you will also be taken by tender to the OngCam floating house - one of few existing houses left after the traditional floating villages were relocated to the mainland, A quick look at the ruins of a floating village will give you an insight to how people lived in simple floating houses. Day 3

Cruise sails to a remote island, where you will see less-known caves. Climb several rugged stone stairs to admire a number of stalactites forming a very complex structure in these caves. Day 4

A tour of Angkor, which was the capital city of the ancient Khmer Empire. Day 5 & 6

Visit Wat Thmei (The Killing Fields), a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the brutal Khmer Rouge regime. Thereafter, visit the ‘Les Artisans d’Angkor - Chantiers Ecole’, the finest authentic Khmer arts and crafts centre. Later visit the Wat Bo pagoda and unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana). DAY 6- Head out of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. City tour you will see Saigon’s historic landmarks: On a stroll down Dong Khoi Street, you will pass classic European landmarks such as the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville), the Central Post Office designed by famous architect Gustave Eiffel.

Day 7 & 8

DAY 7- Drive to My Tho, upon arrival, you will be taken on a boat cruise on the Mekong River, in a small boat rowed by the local people through small canals to see gardens and rural houses, where local families produce coconut candy and honey, or grow fruit. Transfer to Halong Bay, literally called Descending Dragon Bay, is the most wondrous of bays sculpted when an ancient dragon swished its immense tail. Visit almost essential. Enjoy 04-hour cruise to visit islands and grottoes, leaving those that have been equipped with lights, walkways, refreshment stalls and souvenir shops to the tourists. Visiting for its grandeur, and Sung Sot, for its remarkable stalactites and stalagmites. Return back to Hanoi in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 3

Visit the Ba Dinh square - the political centre of the country and Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, One pillar pagoda. Visit Temple of Literature- the temple of Confucius and also Vietnam’s first national university dated from 11st century and Tran Quoc temple- oldest temple on the western bank of the West lake. Afternoon you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, Rest of the day is free for you to relax on your own.

Day 4

Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. In afternoon visit Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office, Cholon, the Chinatown of Ho Chi Minh City and the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai), one of the most interesting pagodas in Vietnam. Return back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5&6

DAY-5 Arrival at My Tho, we board a Mekong cruise boat to Thoi Son Island where we will be entertained with traditional music. We will then change to a paddle boat to cruise through the narrow canals and visit home grown industries like coconut candy and rice-wine making. We next travel by motorized boat to another Mekong island to visit a bee farm and try tea with fresh honey from the beehives and enjoy fresh seasonal fruits. As we return to My Tho there will be a visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda. DAY-6 In the afternoon we embark for a city tour of Siem Reap. Religion is closely linked to Khmer life and pagodas are very important in the country. There are different activities in the pagoda and some are related to the traditions that still remain nowadays. Visit Wat Inkosei built on the site of an ancient temple, which still remains and visit a workshop where traditional shadow play puppets are made. Return to hotel and end of the tour.

Day 7&8

DAY-7 Proceed for a full day tour of Angkor. Visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom. Visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. DAY-8 Today, we check out and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
