Day 1

Welcome to Sydney - the cosmopolitan hub of Australia. A fun and charismatic city for gastronomes, art lovers and outdoorsy people, Sydney is just the place to be for a relaxing holiday. From the Airport, get transferred to your place of stay on a shared basis in a coach/bus (seat-in-coach or SIC basis). Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Begin your day with a filling breakfast and prepare for a Sydney City Tour. You will be picked up from the hotel in a shared coach/bus (seat-in-coach or SIC basis) to travel through the famous attractions of Sydney. See Sydney’s white sandy northern beaches, including Bondi Beach. Take a walk around the historic Rocks area and hear about the early convict history. Thereafter, head to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair for a postcard-perfect view of the Opera House in front of the bridge, before ending the tour at the city center. After the excursion, the rest of the day would be at leisure.

Day 3

Wake up to a scrumptious breakfast and spend the day as you please. You could head out on a scenic ride to the Blue Mountains (Optional Tour at an additional cost). The mountains are named such because of the distant bluish haze caused by vapours of the eucalyptus tree. Admire the beautiful Three Sisters rock formation in the Jamison Valley. Wind your way along Cliff Drive and witness the spectacular Jamison Valley before arriving at a vantage point with magnificent views of the Three Sisters - a trio of rocky pinnacles. Stop over at Scenic World and enjoy 360° views of the Jamison Valley. You could take a ride on the famous Railway, Cableway and Skyway, or embark on a scenic walk for spectacular views over the Jamison Valley. Encounter cuddly koalas and kangaroos at Featherdale Wildlife Park, located on seven acres of natural bush setting, here you will be also able to hand-feed kangaroos (own expense).

Day 4

Check out from the hotel and head to the Sydney airport for your journey to Melbourne. Arrive in Melbourne | Optional Tour: Dinner at Colonial Tramcar Restaurant Vibrant cities, sun-drenched beaches, extraordinary adventure sports and thriving wildlife are some of the reasons that make Australia a traveller’s paradise. Your exciting holiday in Australia would begin with your arrival in Melbourne. With art galleries, theatres, landscapes gardens, parks, Victorian-era architecture and museums, Melbourne is the cultural hub of Australia.

Day 5

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast and set out to explore Melbourne with a City Tour to explore the famous attractions of Melbourne. Make your way to Chinatown, a distinctive area lined with heritage buildings, museums and restaurants. Cross Swanston and Collins Street to reach Fitzroy Garden. After strolling around the flowerbeds, expansive lawns and fountains in the garden, proceed to the Parliament House. Up next, head to the Federation Square, a cultural hub of Melbourne with an exceptional array of restaurants, bars and specialty stores. Swing by the Melbourne Cricket Ground (visit only from outside), Australia's premium stadium and a symbol of Melbourne’s sporting heritage, and end the tour at the city centre.

Day 6&7

Post breakfast, spend the day at your own pace as it is at leisure. Continue your quest to explore Australia by choosing an Optional Tour to Phillip Island (at an additional cost). Journey south-east to visit Maru Koala and Animal Park to see koalas, kangaroos and native Australian birds. View the spectacular coastal scenery at the Nobbies (do note that Nobbies’ viewing is seasonal and dependent on daylight hours). From the walkways you may be able to catch a glimpse of Australia’s largest population of fur seals frolicking along the coastline. Browse through the Phillip Island Visitors Information Centre to learn about the penguins and their life on this island. It is time to bid adieu to Australia, armed with an enriching experience and memories to last a lifetime.

Package Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Darwin. Here transfer to the hotel on your own. Check-in to the hotel and have rest of the day for leisure.

Day 2

Today after an early breakfast, we proceed on a 4WD tour first to Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve which is in the wetland region along the Arnhem highway. These wetlands have international significance because of their beauty and natural ecosystems. A great variety of fauna can be found here throughout the year as well as a large variety of birdlife. Later we head out to Kakadu National park, a world heritage. It is the largest national park in Australia, which has some of the world’s finest rock art and a variety of habitats, including floodplains and savannah woodlands. After reaching at the National Park we check into the hotel. Post lunch head out to Ubirr for a guided walking tour through the galleries of ancient aboriginal rock art.

Day 3

Today after breakfast proceed for a full day tour within Kakadu National Park. First stop of the day will be guided tour at Nourlangie Rock, an ancient Aboriginal shelter, famous for its rock art, followed by a short hike to Nawalandja lookout for a magnificent view of Arnhemland escarpment. Moving along the dirt road lined with termite mounds reach Maguk (Barramundi Gorge and falls) to enjoy the magnificent view of the falls and for a swim at the plunge pool. Later in the afternoon board the sunset Yellow Waters wetlands cruise. This is the largest river system in Kakadu and contains extensive wetlands, including river channels, floodplains and backwater swamps. There are also plenty of crocodiles in their natural habitat, and buffalo on the floodplains.

Day 4

After an early breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to visit Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to get an insight into the cultural heritage of Kakadu National Park. Later proceed to Gunlom (Waterfall Creek) where you have an option to take the walk to the top of the falls where pristine rock pools and a spectacular view await you. After enjoying this beautiful view proceed to Katherine en-route stop at historic town of Pine Creek. In the afternoon we reach our destination at Nitmiluk Gorge in Katherine.

Day 5

Today after breakfast check-out from hotel and proceed for a cultural experience at Katherine Art Gallery for an interactive session with resident artist who shares tales of tribal life, language, the hunting and gathering techniques, ceremony, weapons used and aboriginal contemporary life and experience Rarrrk painting with the resident artist. Also participate in one of the traditional hunting activities (firelighting, spear throwing etc.). Post lunch cruise through Nitmiluk Gorge for 2 hours, viewing the beautiful scenery and discovering the customs of the traditional owners, the Jawoyn people.

Day 6

It is time to bid adieu to Australia, armed with an enriching experience and memories to last a lifetime
